Farm boy to President of the USSR; Mikhail Gorbachev helped end the Cold War and enabled the reunification of Germany, only for the Soviet empire to collapse peacefully beneath him. Werner Herzog and André Singer talk to the man who changed the world and paved the way to today.

There will be a drinks reception at 5.30 followed by a a short welcome address in the cinema before the film which will start at 6.30pm.  The film will be followed by a Q&A session from 8pm to 8.30pm.
