The oldest auction house in India is fighting for survival in the age of eBay and a changing Calcutta. Its two owners, brothers Anwer & Arshad, struggle to save their family business, which still brings together people from across Indian society to this day. Against the backdrop of the brothers’ heartfelt and amusing relationship, the magical world of the auction house is uniquely placed to provide an intimate insight into the challenges and contradictions of making a living in a country of one billion people.
